An investigation was opened after a report from Licra denouncing publications of a racist nature targeting the Franco-Malian singer Aya Nakamura, who could sing during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, the prosecution said on Friday, requested by the 'AFP.

The 28-year-old singer, crowned female artist at the Victoires de la Musique, is stigmatized by the far right and has been the subject of numerous racist attacks since the announcement, at the end of February by the weekly L'Express, of her possible participation at the July 26 launch evening of the Olympic Games, during which she could perform songs by Edith Piaf.
