Jacqueline Mercury-Giorgetti was injured Friday evening in Metz during a refusal to comply. While she was in the car with a crew from the Specialized Field Brigade, they attempted to stop a vehicle listed in the file of reported objects and vehicles.
Wanting to flee, the driver hit their vehicle, in which the sub-prefect was located, who suffered a slight head injury. A police officer stationed at the front of the vehicle was also hit by the driver as he fled.
