Interior Ministry fears the continuation of the farmers' protest movement. According to an intelligence note, the demonstrators must continue these blockages "at least five days", whatever the new measures announced by Prime Minister Gabriel Attal this Tuesday.
The authorities fear a hardening of the movement. The number of farmers participating in actions even tripled on Monday alone, going from 3,000 demonstrators recorded at midday to 9,000 at the end of the day. Farmers are showing their determination and intend to maintain their movement over time.
