In Volgograd, rescuers helped two women who got lost on the way to a bus stop get out of the snowdrifts. The women were hospitalized with second-degree frostbite on their extremities.

Earlier, the Moscow Emergency Situations Ministry issued a warning about freezing rain and fog in the capital on February 12. The situation was complicated by the piercing wind and negative air temperature, the ministry said in a statement. The incident was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of emergency Situations.
