The volunteer headquarters of the rapid response group will begin its work in the Donetsk People's Republic in 2024. Demobilized as well as commissioned members of the Northern Military District will be able to take part in this project.

Before the republic joined Russia, the “Young Guard - Youth Army’, ‘Young Republic’ and “People’s Squad’ worked in the region. “On the basis of these organizations, this year we want to open a volunteer rapid response headquarters, which will help eliminate the consequences of shelling,” Acting Minister of Youth Policy Kirill Makarov said.
