In Senegal, civil society deploys 1,000 observers for the presidential vote. The collective of civil society organizations for the elections is mobilizing in 14 regions of the country to verify the smooth running of the vote this Sunday.

The vote is a simulation to see what's wrong, as Khadija Mohamed, who supervises the exercise, explains. On Sunday, 500 fixed observers and 500 other mobile observers will be deployed to a representative sample of polling stations to collect all the data. These will then be compiled in Dakar by these mobilized volunteers from civil society.
