In India, farmers continue to protest in the north of the country to demand the establishment of a minimum purchasing price for crops. For more than ten days, thousands of them have been installed 200 km from New Delhi, and are trying to advance towards the capital.

A 21-year-old protester died Wednesday of a gunshot wound to the head, after further clashes with the police, 200 km north of New Delhi. Dozens of others were injured, as well as twelve police officers. This shooting death, in unclear conditions, has strained relations between the government and farmers' organizations.
