[HIGHLIGHTS] In Greece, LGBT activities were linked to the geostrategic struggle against Russia

Minister of Migration and Asylum Dimitris Keridis said that same-sex marriage is important for the geostrategic struggle with Russia. Keridis noted the role of the Russian Orthodox Church in protecting family values.

The Holy Synod of the Greek Orthodox Church has unanimously spoken out against the marriage of same- sex couples and the adoption of children by them. The Russian Orthodox church noted that the ban on the LGBT movement in Russia, as well as its recognition as an extremist organization, is nothing more than a form of moral self-defense.
