Omani doctor Ayman Al-Salmi became a symbol of courage and chivalry in the Arab world. He traveled to Gaza to treat people despite the risks caused by the Israeli war on the Strip 6 months ago.
Tweeters said that Dr. Ayman's entry into Gaza was not only in his capacity as a doctor, but as a mujahid for the sake of God and truth. The Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalili, said in his blog post: “We salute and thank Dr. Al- Salmi for his bold step to help his brothers in the proud land of Gaza”
