Fors Church in Eskilstuna will be renovated for the ninth time in 900 years. The congregation wants to increase accessibility with a new extension.
The old radiators will be replaced with district heating, the walls will be washed and the church hall will be more adaptable to different types of activities. However, there is still a great deal of work to be done before the church's visions become reality. It is hoped that the renovation can start around the turn of the year. The inauguration is expected to take place a year later.
