[HIGHLIGHTS] How is my country's deep well drilling setting new records for its repeated breakthroughs?

Well Fushenre 1 is located in Haikou City, Hainan Province. It is China's first deep geothermal scientific exploration well over 5,000 meters.

It uses a number of independent innovative technologies to drill a geothermal resource reservoir with a temperature of 150°C near 3,900 meters. Two types and three sets of geothermal reservoirs were discovered, with bottom-hole temperatures exceeding 188°C, marking a breakthrough in the search for deep high-temperature geothermal resources in South China.
