Host Tucker Carlson has reached an agreement to leave Fox News Media, the company said in a statement. His departure comes less than a week after Fox News and its parent company Fox Corp settled for $787.5 million in a defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems.
The settlement avoided a lawsuit that put one of the world's leading media companies in the spotlight for its coverage of false allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 U.S. election. Fox News Tonight" will air live at 8 p.m. EST starting tonight as an interim program.
