Thirty students from 16 secondary schools in Hong Kong, plus a total of 43 volunteers, immersed themselves in the landscape, geography and humanities of Guilin, Guangxi. Students personally experienced roasting bamboo tube rice, making mugwort cakes, oil tea, and tasting Guilsin's special delicacies.

They walked on the East-West Alley Pedestrian Street at night to feel the prosperity and fireworks of Guiltsin's "night economy" They visited the Jingjiang Prince's Mansion to experience the process of the ancient imperial examination.
