All staff who sell holiday weeks to the region will receive compensation of SEK 20,000 per week. Analysis shows the pressure looks set to peak in the first two weeks of July and the last week of the same month.
The region analyzed the need for care beds as it looked week by week during the previous year, and based on that made an assessment of when the need will be greatest and when it will be easier to offer holidays. However, buying vacation weeks from staff who have already worked hard does not see the regional management as a long-term solution.
