Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone will be closed for operation from March 1. This is a landmark measure to achieve the first-stage development goals of the cooperation zone and an important step in promoting the integrated development of Qintao and Macao.
According to the announcement, the relevant policies will come into effect from the date of closure and operation. In the near future, the cooperation zones and customs departments will successively release a series of supporting documents, mainly including three categories. The review and identification mechanism for duty-free import entities will be clarified.
