Hebei has completed the restoration and reconstruction of about 165,000 disaster-stricken rural houses. The remaining 20,000 households will be rebuilt before winter this year.
It is understood that at the end of July and beginning of August 2023, affected by Typhoon "Dusuri", Hebei suffered floods that were rare in history. The province has listed post-disaster rural housing restoration as one of the 20 livelihood projects implemented by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government.
