In 2023, Guangzhou's general trade import and export volume was 753.99 billion yuan, an increase of 7.1%. In addition to achieving growth in imports and exports from traditional markets such as Europe and the U.S., Guangzhou continues to expand into emerging markets.
The export trade volume of the "three new items" of foreign trade, including electric passenger vehicles, solar cells, and lithium batteries, was approximately 12.89 billion yuan. The scale of foreigntrade of private enterprises continues to expansion, showing full resilience and playing a key counter-cyclical adjustment role.
