Guangzhou held its first large-scale job recruitment meeting after the holiday. 268 companies participated, providing 11,100 jobs, mainly from manufacturing, service industry, hotel and catering, wholesale and retail, transportation, logistics and distribution and other industries.
"The demand for recruitment of workers by enterprises this year is still relatively strong," says Li Hanzhang, director of the Guangzhou Human Resources Market Service Center. According to a sample survey of 817 companies in Guangzhou, as of February 19, the return rate of migrant workers could reach 80.88%, an increase of more than 10 percentage points from the same period last year.
