The annual street art festival in Snösätra in Rågsved is underway and attracts both amateur and professional graffiti artists. For several years, there have been disputes about what should happen to the industrial area.
The City of Stockholm is moving forward with plans to create a cultural park in the area. Through temporary building permits, the cultural park is currently being developed, says Kersti Tagesson, project manager at the district administration. During the festival, which lasts for four days, about 30 walls will be painted. "It's hard but fun, especially to get the white lines straight," says George Crafoord.
