Government decides to hold the 9th TICAD in Yokohama in late August next year. The theme of the conference is development and support for Africa.
This is the fourth time that it will be held in the Japanese city. It is based on the fact that it was held in Tunisia in North Africa a year ago, which positioned Africa as a ''partner to grow together'' and proposed joint public-private investment and human resource development. It's expected that support will be considered based upon the needs of each country.
