Eight companies signed a charter to develop artificial intelligence in line with human rights. The agreement was signed at the second UNESCO Global Forum in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

It follows the adoption of a global law in November 2021 on the use of artificial intelligence. The charter was signed by companies from South Korea, the U.S. and the UK, as well as the European Commission and the European Union. It is the first of its kind and aims to establish a framework for the development of Artificial Intelligence in Europe.
