Ghana: investigation into the assassination of journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale at a standstill. Aged 31 when he was shot and killed in January 2019, Ahmed Suale was investigating corruption cases.
Four suspects were arrested at the start of the investigation in 2019, before being released for lack of evidence. The journalists' defense organization Reporters Without Borders is calling on the authorities to finally shed light on this assassination. Shortly before his death, a deputy from the presidential party had openly threatened him.
