Ghana: investigation into the assassination of journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale at a standstill

The investigation into the assassination of investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale continues.

This is what the Attorney General said in response to questions from several deputies on Tuesday February 20.

Aged 31 when he was shot and killed in January 2019, Ahmed Suale was investigating corruption cases.

Four suspects were arrested at the start of the investigation in 2019, before being released for lack of evidence.

The journalists' defense organization Reporters Without Borders is calling on the authorities to finally shed light on this assassination.
