The German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection informed Rosneft of its intention to nationalize RosneFT Deutschland. This was reported by TASS with reference to a statement from the Malmendier Legal law firm, whose services the Russian company turned to.
The corresponding expropriation by the German authorities would be an unprecedented measure in the history of Germany and “would forever damage investment security,” the law firm said. It is emphasized that Rosneaft will take all measures to protect the rights of its shareholders.
