At the G7 Hiroshima Summit, President Zelensky of Ukraine is expected to visit Japan on the 20th and participate in the discussions on the 21st. As the Japan of the Presidency, I would like to convey our policy of continuing our assistance to Ukraine and confirm our unwavering solidarity with G7.
On the second day of the Summit, on the 2th, an expanded meeting will be held with the leaders of eight invited countries. The focus will be on whether the G20 can demonstrate its commitment to emerging and developing countries.
