First Deputy Defense Minister Pavlyuk was fired in Ukraine. He is moving to another job.

It is not specified which post he has been appointed to. On February 9, Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Sergei Shaptala from the post of chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He appointed Anatoly Bargilevich, who commanded the defense forces, instead. Also, Alexander Syrsky was appointed commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of Valery Zaluzhny.
