This was announced by government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

“Alexander Alekseevich Pavlyuk has been dismissed from the post of First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine due to a transfer to another job,” he wrote on Telegram.

It is not specified which post Pavlyuk has been appointed to.

On February 9, Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Sergei Shaptala from the post of chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and appointed Anatoly Bargilevich, who commanded the defense forces, instead. Also, Alexander Syrsky was appointed commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of Valery Zaluzhny.

The Ukrainian publication “Zerkalo Nedeli” wrote that Pavlyuk would become the commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces instead of Syrsky.
