SOS was alerted to a fire at Northvolt's battery factory in Skellefteå. The alarm about the fire was received at 14.31.
According to SOS, it should first have been received as an automatic alarm, but then callers from the scene also said that there was smoke visible in a gate at the factory. There is a large presence at the battery factory with over ten cars and a ladder truck from the emergency services. No reports of injuries and the evacuation of the area has been completed.
