Federal election 2025: FDP General Secretary leans towards a coalition without the Greens. Bijan Djir-Sarai prefers an alliance with the Union or a so-called Germany coalition including the SPD.
According to current surveys, an alliance between the Union and the FDP would be far from a majority. But it could be enough for a coalition of the Union, SPD and FDP. The next federal election is planned for autumn 2025 and is due to take place in September.
