EU has taken measures to suspend tariffs on imported goods from Ukraine as a means of support for Ukraine, which is undergoing invasion from Russia. The EU has suspended tariffs on imports from Ukraine since 2022, when the Russian invasion began.
On January 31, the European Commission, the EU's executive agency, announced that it would extend this measure for another year. Within the EU, countries such as Hungary have banned the import of agricultural products from Ukraine, as farmers are suffering harm from the influx of relatively cheap agricultural products.
