Estonian President Alar Karis called the fighting in Ukraine a defining moment for a generation. He also called on European countries to strengthen their support for Ukraine.

Earlier, a member of the Estonian parliament from the opposition Conservative People's Party, Leo Kunnas, proposed using anti-personnel mines in the construction of defensive structures near the border with Russia. He said: "When we are united, we are invincible. When we show determination, we will be considered weak"
