Embassy: US is trying in vain to make the world forget about the bombing of Yugoslavia. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the bombing was completely unacceptable.
Earlier, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that Washington is doing everything to make people forget how NATO, on its orders, bombed Belgrade and other cities of Yugoslavia, the Russian Embassy in Washington said. The diplomatic mission noted that today in Washington “they are cynically calling on Belgrade to quickly turn the page and join the alliance, which at one time brought destruction, death and pain”
