Several elite skiers, both alpine and cross-country, have written an open letter to the International Ski Federation, FIS, with demands on how to reduce climate impact. The Alpine Easter Slam in Sundsvall shows that it is possible and both skiers and leaders are positive.

The idea is that a later start to the season reduces travel around the world that the athletes are forced to do to find snow to ride on early in the pre-season. Hear some of the top skiers' views on a later race start and see what the snow conditions were like in the video.
