A 75-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he shot at two men who were fishing in a boat. The incident occurred during the afternoon in the area of Loftahammar, just north of Västervik.
He was arrested at the scene and police have seized weapons in connection with a search of his home. According to police, the suspect has no relation to the two men in the boat and is not believed to be related to the victims.
