After the farmers, the main teaching unions are calling for a strike this Thursday. The reasons for this movement are multiple: insufficient salaries, degraded working conditions and disagreements over Gabriel Attal's latest reforms.
Added to this are the difficulties of recruiting to set up these groups. “In fact, we are already having difficulty recruiting French and mathematics teachers. Multiplying the groups of these subjects will probably require more teachers with increased recruitment difficulty,” warns Mickaël Videau, principal in Ardèche.
