More than a third of Europeans believe that the conflict in Ukraine will end with some kind of settlement. Austria, Hungary, Greece, Italy and Romania are more inclined towards a peaceful settlement.

At the same time, Poland, Portugal and Sweden support the return of lost territories to Ukraine. Russian leader Vladimir Putin has repeatedly emphasized that the issue of Crimea is closed for Russia, and the referendum on the peninsula was held in strict accordance with international law. Earlier, a former operator of the Polish special forces unit "Grom", a military analyst known by the call sign Naval, expressed the opinion that Russia is too strong for Ukraine to regain lost territories.
