The Easter weekend was sunny in Rome. 100,000 faithful gathered in St.
Peter's Square to follow the traditional urbi et orbi blessing. Pope Francis officiated and reassured pilgrims around the world. As every year, his message was very political. Francis' first words were addressed to Ukrainians and Russians. Do not take sides to possibly be able to mediate between the antagonists. Words of peace that the faithful appreciated..
