Duma deputy proposed introducing reporting for foreign agents on income and expenses. Earlier, the State Duma of Russia in the first reading adopted a bill prohibiting Russian citizens and companies from placing advertisements on the websites of foreign agents.

Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin clarified that the ban applies to websites, blogs, and social networks. In addition, the bill prohibits advertising in the media of the resources of foreign agent themselves. The head of the StateDuma Security Committee, Vasily Piskarev, said that quoting foreign agents in media will be considered a violation if done for advertising purposes.
