The pharmaceutical group Servier, the 2nd French laboratory, went back into the red for the 2022/2023 financial year. The loss is mainly linked to its conviction by the Court of Appeal on December 20, 2023 on the Mediator case.
In December, the Servier laboratory was fined 9 million euros and must above all reimburse social security and mutual insurance companies more than 415 million euros. The group was found guilty, among other things, of fraud, homicide and involuntary injury for having marketed Mediator.
