Andrei Bogdanov submitted documents to the Central Election Commission of Russia today. He decided to refuse further participation in the presidential elections.

Earlier, the chairman of the Russian All-People's Union, Sergei Baburin, announced that he was withdrawing his candidacy. It was also reported that Irina Sviridova, a candidate from the non-parliamentary Democratic Party of Russia (DPR), was unable to collect the required number of voter signatures in her support. She did this immediately after submitting signatures for registration.
