Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Nikolai Bulaev spoke about this.

He noted that on January 31, Bogdanov’s documents were accepted at the Central Election Commission.

According to him, Bogdanov wrote a letter of resignation from the presidential campaign.

Earlier, the chairman of the Russian All-People's Union, Sergei Baburin, announced that he was withdrawing his candidacy from the presidential elections. He did this immediately after submitting signatures for registration to the CEC.

It was also reported that Irina Sviridova, a candidate for the presidential elections in Russia from the non-parliamentary Democratic Party of Russia (DPR), was unable to collect the required number of voter signatures in her support.
