CSN did not receive any extra money from the government to hire more administrators. CSN estimates that approximately 90 extra administrators are needed to be able to handle all applications within a reasonable time.
The adjustment support was introduced last autumn, and is aimed at those aged between 27 and 62 who are relatively established in the labour market but who may want to further their education or change careers. In 2024, the sum is even higher, two billion of the total appropriation of SEK 2.84 billion can go back to the state treasury.
