A masked gunman stormed into a gym in central Stockholm in March last year. The victim was a 55-year-old man who was exercising next door and tried to intervene.

The shooter, who was 16 at the time of the murder, was sentenced in the district court to inpatient juvenile detention for 2 years and 11 months. Now the Svea Court of Appeal is changing the verdict and giving the now 17- year-old shooter inpatient Juvenile detention for four years. Three co-defendants, aged 19, 31 and 32, were acquitted of aiding and abetting.
