Kiruna municipality is sounding the alarm that the teacher shortage is becoming increasingly acute among Kiruna's schools. Tuffast is the situation at Nya Raketskolan.
A renovation of the premises will now be investigated there. It is not only teachers who are missing, but all possible staff within the school. Competition from industry has been cited as a cause of recruitment difficulties. It could be introduced theme weeks in music to try and recruit new staff. The design of the school will also be investigated.
