Colonel Matviychuk allowed the conflict in Ukraine to be resolved in three months. He agreed with the opinion of the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, that the Ukrainian conflict can be resolved without Western support for Kyiv.
The retired Colonel cited factors such as a shortage of ammunition and a lack of motivated and resilient reserves that could replace those that are destroyed and surrender. “Many people who surrender today openly declare that they see no prospects for further struggle,” he said.
