Clashes took place between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in the vicinity of the Signal Corps in the Bahri region, north of the capital, Khartoum. From its positions in Omdurman, the army bombed sites belonging to the Rapid support Forces.
The SudaneseArmy, led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the rapid support forces are fighting a war that has left about 13,900 people dead and more than 8 million displaced and refugees.
