[HIGHLIGHTS] Chinese representatives call on the international community to create positive conditions for a political settlement of the Ukraine crisis

U.N. Security Council held a public meeting on the 12th to review the Ukrainian issue.

Zhang Jun, China's Permanent Representative to the U.N., spoke at the meeting. He called on the international community to actively promote peace talks and create positive conditions for a political settlement of the Ukraine crisis. He said that China is a staunch force in safeguarding international peace and always stands on the side of peace and justice. He added that the security interests of all countries are equal to each other.
