China and the United States resume talks on fentanyl. It is the leading cause of death among 18-45 year olds in the U.S.

Fentanyl, 50 times more powerful than heroin, is one of the main drugs responsible for the opioid crisis which has been raging for several years in the country. There are around a hundred thousand deaths from overdoses every year. To combat fentanyl, the American and Chinese governments continue their discussions, because the components of this synthetic drug are exported from China.
