The new ash burial grove in Bräkne-Hoby is being used to grow potatoes. This is not the first time this has been done at a cemetery in Sweden.
"It feels a bit disgusting that you mix potatoes and currant bushes with dead people," says one local. "I just think it's nice. The dead would surely rejoice too," says another. The new grove will be used to bury people who have died in the past, as well as to plant new crops.
