Celine Dion was diagnosed in the fall of 2022 with a rare neurological disease called stiff person syndrome. The 55-year-old singer said that overcoming this disease “was one of the most difficult experiences” in her life.

Celine Dion's last public appearance was in a brief surprise appearance during the Grammy Awards in early February. The Canadian star's last concert dates back to March 2020 in the city of Newark in the eastern United States. At the end of February, Amazon Prime Video announced its intention to release a documentary about the singer entitled “I Am: Celineion” through which she wants to “raise awareness” of her disease.
